Dan spent time in newspaper and television journalism before embarking on an epic PR journey of exploration that began in East Anglia two decades ago.
For Dan, Astley Media was the inevitable next step after his time as Media Manager at EDF Energy, culminating in leading the company’s London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games media operations.
Likes to think he looks younger than he really is. To some, an indie music and road bike bore, to others just sad. And he makes his own apple chutney.

Joe loves the creative side of his work, helping brands to tell their story and connect with their tribe. When he’s not at his laptop, you’ll find him running the streets of Exeter or climbing in and out of Devon’s hedges with his binoculars.
