So, I just watched an advert by EE claiming they have a better mobile network than their rivals.

It was presented by (ahem) movie star Kevin Bacon and even featured Gogglebox ‘celebrity’ Scarlett Moffat (ticking the UK box).

It was fun and sort of entertaining, but my overwhelming reaction…

Because I find it annoying that rival mobile providers are spending money trying to out boast each other…

Their message: You made a bad choice, sucker!

This style of macho posturing is soooo yesterday and it demonstrates to me that their focus is selfish and not customer-driven…

What would really win my favour would be a company that pledged to work with its rivals to make my overall experience better.

Is that really as crazy as it sounds?!
